Transportation Commission (formerly Traffic Commission) · Meeting of January 20, 2026

MALDEN — Traffic Commission unanimously approved a "Do Not Enter" sign on Dodge Street at Stanton Street. The sign restricts vehicle entry between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on school days, responding to a request from Ernie Ardolino, the city's Parking official, to enhance traffic safety during school hours. Chief Glenn Cronin presided.

The commission also voted unanimously to accept minutes of its prior meeting and recognized the retirement of Traffic Department member Kathleen Hannan while welcoming new clerk Margaret Sullivan.
