MALDEN — Council on Aging reduced Senior Center Bingo to one day weekly due to budget cuts and staffing shortages. At its March 31 meeting, the Council noted that Laura Vlasuk joined the board as a member in place of an outgoing member and that longtime Activities and Volunteer Coordinator Cheryl Spinella will retire April 3 after more than 30 years of service. Senior Center Coordinator Mikeneil Paul reaffirmed that all classes remain available to all members regardless of demographic.
Mystic Valley Elder Services will begin providing social services on the second and fourth Mondays beginning April 13.
