Malden Planning Board unanimously approved a special permit for an acupuncture clinic. The Planning Board granted the permit to Mingqiang Liang to operate Natural Wellness Acupuncture in Suite 400 of 75 Pleasant Street, a 1,300-square-foot space in the Central Business zoning district providing acupuncture and massage services with accessory supplements. Kenneth Antonucci and Resa Gray moved and seconded approval; the vote was 9-0, with Associate Member Maria Schroeder voting in place of absent member Patrick Hayes.
The Board also unanimously approved an ANR Plan for properties at 646 Broadway, 644-646 Broadway, and 628 Broadway.
