Malden Records 14 Property Deeds in Late Summer, Most Without Disclosed Prices
Malden recorded 14 property transfers between July 31 and Aug. 29, but only three deeds disclosed a sale price: $525,000, $660,000 and $1,000,000, for a median of $660,000 among disclosed sales. The month's top recorded sale was 135 Hawthorne St. at $1,000,000, sold by trustees Ralph and Richard G. DiGirolamo to Robert T. DeLuca, trustee, and Hawthorne Realty Trust. Ten of the 14 deeds show a seller and buyer sharing the same surname, consistent with trust or estate transfers within the same family, including two properties on Hancock Street. With prices undisclosed on 11 of 14 deeds, the data does not support a conclusion about whether the market favored buyers or sellers this period.
