Malden July Property Sales Span $430,000 to $1.19 Million as Family Trust Transfers Mark Nearly Half of Deeds
Malden recorded 17 property transfers between July 24 and Aug. 22, according to South Middlesex Registry of Deeds filings. Sale prices were disclosed in only 8 of the 17 transactions, ranging from $430,000 for a Franklin Street condominium to $1,190,000 for a single-family home at 3 Hawthorne St, the period's top sale. The median disclosed price was $687,500. Hawthorne Street and Salem Street each saw two recorded transfers. Seven of the 17 deeds appear to be trust or estate transfers within the same family, meaning fewer than half of this period's transactions reflect traditional sales with disclosed pricing.
