Malden Home Sales Range From $420,000 to Just Over $1 Million in Late July

Malden recorded 16 property transfers between July 10 and Aug. 8, but only five deeds disclosed a sale price, ranging from $420,000 to $1,030,000 with a median of $625,000. The month's top sale was 229 Pearl St., which sold for $1.03 million on July 16. At least nine of the 16 transfers appear to be intra-family or trust transactions, including several where the buyer and seller share a surname, none of which disclosed a price. No single street recorded more than one transaction, and deed records do not include bed, bath or square-footage data, limiting further comparison.
