MALDEN — The Malden Emergency Management Team planned a summer operational drill and reviewed departmental responses to a recent snowstorm. Director John Kelley led discussions with representatives from fire, communications, public works, schools, and public facilities about snow removal operations, emergency communications, and equipment readiness. Clerk Elaina Savino reported no update on a pending MPEMPG grant application for FY2025.
The team agreed to conduct a summer drill at the Police Department Emergency Operations Center to review roles and test generators and circuits at schools and facilities.
