Human Rights & Fair Housing Commission · Meeting of March 11, 2026
MALDEN — The Malden Human Rights and Fair Housing Commission voted unanimously to print a redesigned brochure featuring updated outreach tools. Vice Chair Taylor Shutt and Resident Member Madelein McCormick presented the revamped design, which includes cleaned-up wording, the city logo, multiple contact points, a QR code, and full-color printing, all approved by Maria Luise, the city's ADA Compliance Coordinator. All six members present voted to approve.
Commissioners discussed translating the brochure into additional languages beyond the seven currently available online through Google Translate, with suggestions that event-specific printed editions in languages such as Haitian Creole could be possible for major community events pending mayor's office budget approval.
