Commission approves Spring Street window replacements

The Malden Historical Commission unanimously approved window replacements at 63 Spring Street, a historic property designated as Significant Building under Title 4.24.

Historical Commission · Meeting of January 15, 2026

MALDEN — The Malden Historical Commission unanimously approved window replacements at 63 Spring Street, a historic property designated as Significant Building under Title 4.24. The approval of six replacement windows was contingent on two conditions: replacement frames and mullions must match existing historic designs. Property owner Michael Blaguszewski attended the meeting to present the application.

The Commission also scheduled a public hearing for 808 Salem Street on February 23 or February 26, 2026, to determine whether the building qualifies for Preferably Preserved status.
