Human Rights & Fair Housing Commission · Meeting of May 13, 2026

MALDEN — The Human Rights and Fair Housing Commission moved forward with brochure printing and fair housing planning. Chair Paul Weston confirmed the group would order at least 250 brochures and pursue translations into the city's dominant languages, with ADA Compliance Coordinator Maria Luise handling the translations and delivering the English version within a few days. Luise also agreed to research available fair housing plan templates and resources, including potential materials from HUD, to adapt for Malden.

Board members Dawn Macklin, Elaine Shwartz, and Madelein McCormick confirmed availability to distribute brochures at upcoming Juneteenth and Pride events.
