MALDEN — The Malden Board of Appeal approved a parking variance for a sports facility at 735 Broadway on March 18. The five-member board voted 5-0 to grant the variance under city code Section 12.20.010, allowing Unlimited Soccer and MPadel Malden to use overflow parking from an adjacent bowling alley and fitness center. The warehouse, completed in 2024, had remained largely unleased for more than two years before the sports tenants occupied it in late 2025.
The board separately continued a parking variance petition from Alpha Business Center to April 15 due to advertising notice issues.
